SADDLE MOUNTAIN INDUSTRIAL PARK

1text1v3

The Port has a 280 acre industrial park named “Saddle Mountain Industrial Park.” There are 13 available lots for sale or lease ranging in size from 3 to 23 acres. The lots have been zoned light to heavy industrial. With paved road access, potable water and fire flow protection up to 2400gpm, the lots are “ready to go” for those businesses needing a home.

The Port has the same low cost power as the rest of Grant County but offers some of the lowest priced commercial/industrial land available along with low affordable water. There are tax incentives due to being a rural area.

Grant County PUD

A power substation is to be located in the Port’s Industrial Park. Grant County PUD is a consumer-owned utility. It was created in 1938 by a popular vote of the people of the county who had been struggling for 20 years to receive electricity. Grant County is a rural, predominantly agricultural region. The ability to maintain local control of power resources has allowed the county to grow and prosper. Low cost power provided by the Grant County PUD allows the county to be a leading player in the agricultural sector of Washington State and a driving force in regional and state economies.
